Roles

Sign up via the quick registration form on our website and you will gain automatic access to the wealth of resources available in our online library, our assessment tool and our free events.

The assessment is a series of statements or questions which are used to assess and benchmark your knowledge on the key sustainability topics within the built environment. The assessment is used to direct you to the most relevant resources for your level of learning and identify gaps within your knowledge.

Completing an assessment will generate an action plan which is relevant to your trade category and industry sector, your company size and areas for improvement in your knowledge.

An action plan is a tailored list of recommended resources which are generated as a result of completing an assessment.

Our assessment considers your trade category and industry sector before creating a bespoke action plan based on your responses, with areas for improvement in your knowledge.

You can manage your contact preferences at any time from your individual account.

You should log in on a regular basis as we are always updating content and announcing new event dates. (event calendar link)

We recommend re-assessing every 6 months to maintain your level of membership. (link to R&R)

When you register as a new user of the School, our system will notify you if we already have an existing company account associated with your email domain.

If we do, you will be invited to join your colleagues in your company’s existing account and your company administrator will be notified that you wish to join. You will still be able to access all the School’s resources and complete a personal assessment whilst you wait for your administrator to approve you into the company account.

In order to complete assessments on behalf of your company, you will need to be an administrator of your company account. To become a company administrator, you will either need to ask your current administrator to grant you rights or contact us to request them.

Our reward and recognition scheme is based on a company’s activity as a whole within the School, so membership badges are only applied to a company account.

The more colleagues that join your company account and utilise the School’s resources, the easier it is for your company to collect and upgrade your membership badge.

Fellowship

(Paid organisation accounts)

Supply Chain Sustainability School Fellow organisations are industry leaders and innovators who put their money and time behind their corporate sustainability promises.

School Fellows are collaborators with a mutual interest in enabling socially, environmentally and economically sustainable supply chains for all organisations in all industries in Australia and New Zealand through open access to educational resources.

School Fellows set our strategic direction, identify critical issues, develop new training, contribute to learning resources, participate in live events, and ensure good governance.

School Fellows share the costs of running the School, so access to learning can remain FREE for everyone.

Fellows of the Supply Chain Sustainability School set our strategic direction, identify critical issues, develop new training, contribute to learning resources, participate in live events, and ensure good governance. Our list of Fellows has been growing since we began back in 2015. View our Fellow Directory for the most up-to-date list of organisations.

In short; Yes!

We want to continue to offer high-quality free-to-use online learning resources that enable our industry to raise the standard on sustainable procurement and management. To do this, we need organisations like yours to become Fellows.

Becoming a Fellow is simple. Complete the application form on our Become a Fellow page, and we'll contact you.

No. The School is free at the point of use. We will not charge your supply chain for any of the online resources. The School is funded by Partner fees and other funding mechanisms as and when appropriate. The School’s accounts are transparent, monitored by the Advisory Board and available for review by Partners.

To gain a bespoke action plan you will need to complete an assessment. The assessment tool is located on your account page.

You can either take a personal assessment to benchmark your own knowledge, or a company assessment on behalf of your organisation. Company assessments can be completed as part of a team discussion or through your own evaluation of your company’s current skillset.

Everyone who joins the School will automatically be given a personal account, from which you can manage your own learning, take assessments and download CPD certificates of activity.

Individuals can be linked into a company account, which consolidates all individuals from a company into one place and allows cumulative activity and progress to be saved in one area. Users can progress through their own learning journey and collect CPD points, whilst also contributing to the company’s engagement and level of membership with the School.

For example, if Joe Bloggs Scaffolding employs ten people, all of whom are registered with the School, each of these ten users will have access to their own personal accounts, as well as the ability to access and view the Joe Bloggs Scaffolding company account.

In order to complete assessments on behalf of your company, you will need to be an administrator of your company account. To become a company administrator, you will either need to ask your current administrator to grant you rights or contact us to request them.

Please contact us with your company’s details and we will be able to re-allocated administrative access to your company account.

Company membership

(Free organisation accounts)

Our reward and recognition scheme is based on level of activity and engagement with the School and its resources. If your company’s membership level has dropped, this could mean that you have not completed an assessment in a while or accessed any resources or attended any of our training events.

Review your company’s activity via your company dashboard to understand why your level may have dropped, and if you have any questions, please contact us.

We reward and recognise our members based on levels of engagement and interaction with the School. Below is an outline of our membership scheme:

Registered: Has created an account but has not undertaken an assessment or viewed any resources or attended any School training

Member: Used at least one resource in the past 12 months. This can be either completing an assessment, coming to one of our events, or accessing an online resource

Bronze Member:Has completed an assessment in the past 12 months and has viewed 5 resources in the past 6 months

Silver Member: Has completed a re-assessment in the past 12 months and has viewed 5 resources in the past 6 months

Gold Member: Has completed a re-assessment in the past 12 months (with increased knowledge score), has viewed 10 resources in the past 6 months and has completed a case study or spoken at an event.

Our reward and recognition scheme is based on a company’s activity as a whole within the School, so membership badges are only applied to a company account.

The more colleagues that join your company account and utilise the School’s resources, the easier it is for your company to collect and upgrade your membership badge.

Our Partners can see which members of their supply chain are registered with the School and your membership will also be publicised via our membership directory.

No. All assessment scores are completely confidential and therefore your clients are unable to see them.

We do not give out membership numbers. If your company is a bronze, silver or gold member you will be able to download your accreditation badge from your company dashboard, or you will be able to see your company name in our membership directory.

No. Although we understand it could look like that. Larger organisations took the lead to help develop the School initially but now they’re intent on bringing in Partners from across the value chain. The School Partners welcome and actively promote becoming a Partner to companies from all sizes and sectors in the built environment.

Our membership levels are updated every 24 hours. Come back tomorrow to view your membership badge on your account.
