BIC Sustainability ReportBIC Services (BIC) has been operating since 1989 as a leading provider of integrated cleaning services. They provide cleaning, hygiene, and maintenance services, waste management and consumables across commercial, educational, industrial, aged-care, health care and transport, precincts, and open spaces.
Headquartered in Sydney, BIC have corporate offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. The majority of their 2,500-strong workforce works in their 1,800+ client sites across Australia.
On 7 July 2022, BIC was acquired by Bidvest Group Limited. Founded in 1988 and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 1990, Bidvest is a leading South African industrial group with over 250 individual businesses and employs over 125 000 people in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, and Australia.
As a Signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, BIC are committed to incorporating the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anticorruption into our business strategies, policies and procedures, and company culture. They also work collaboratively with key stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on where they can have the greatest influence and impact.

To deliver on their responsibilities, they see Fellowship with the Supply Chain Sustainability School as facilitating greater collaboration with like-minded organisations and assisting in upskilling employees and suppliers on topics important to BIC. This includes climate action, waste management and a circular economy, water conservation, and addressing modern slavery, to name a few.
